Naughty Nappies™
After few months of practicing and improving patterns and skills, we are happy to announce the birth of "Naughty Nappies™".
I have not officially launched N.N. yet because I still need more testers to make sure the diapers are working properly, but thanks to Liz Stone, owner of Baby Boot Camp Oahu, we will be debuting our cloth diapers at BBC's booth at the up coming Baby Expo in Honolulu, May 15th & 16th. Please stop by and say hi if you are going.

The True Cost of Single-Use Bags
The cost of a single-use bag you got from the grocery store? Take a guess, a few cents...? WRONG!!!

Next time when you go shopping, either for groceries or clothes, bring your own reusable bags. If you don't have some already, buy a few (you can find them for a few dollars each) and start using them, they will last for a long long long time!

I think he needs a hat!
Lucious and I were walking my darling hubby to work when it started to drizzle.
"I think he needs a hat!" said the man we passed by who was organizing his van that was parked by the sidewalk.
It made me think of the time when the lady in the elevator said: "he's not cold?" she looked at Lucious who was only wearing a t-shirt and a diaper on a hot day.
"NO! he's not cold! and why don't you just shut up and mind your own business?!" I felt like saying.....

What seemed like my worse nightmare
So... it finally happened, Lucious fell off of the bed yesterday. :(
We were getting ready to go grocery shopping. I put him down in the middle of the bed (we have bed rails on both sides, but not at the end of the bed) so I can go to the bathroom (which, luckily, is right next to the bedroom) to put on my contact lenses (it usually takes me 10 seconds and the weird thing is, I was going to wear my glasses originally but somehow I decided to put my contacts on). I sometimes bring them into the bedroom to put them on, but it wasn't the case this time...
After I put on the contact on the left side, I heard a thud. My heart dropped and I rushed into the room to find him face down on the carpet (He's 6 months old so although not crawling yet, he can roll). He started crying, I held him up into my arms as tight as I could, tears started collecting in the corners of my eyes. I nursed him and pretended it was funny and started laughing, he calmed down within minutes.
We observed him for the rest of the day and he seems to be ok. But I still can't get the image of him lying face down on the carpet out of my mind.....
